ProgrammeImmerse yourself completely in the grandeur of the Langhe among vineyards, scenic ridges, fascinating remnants of rural architecture, and Romanesque parish churches, strolling the white gravel roads on a discovery of the King of Wines: Barolo. We’ll visit the town of Barolo with its beautiful historic centre, castle, and wine shops, as well as the prestigious Barolo Wine Museum and the peculiar Corkscrew Museum. Along trails framed by vineyards and hazelnut trees we continue on to Monforte where, at the top of the village, near the castle and the Horzowski Amphitheatre (the temple of summer jazz), we can admire the entire crescent of the Alps from the scenic overlook. Lunch will be at a traditional trattoria. After having explored the birthplace of Barolo, participants will enjoy a tasting in an wine shop.
