RIDING IN THE LANGHE:
MURAZZANO, SINIO & BAROLO

An exclusive trail through the unpaved roads of the Langhe, land of great wines, truffles, hazelnuts, and cheese. Three days trekking on rolling hills to offer you a collection of breathtaking and unforgettable views walking through chestnuts and oaks woods, meadows and pastures and growing vineyards.

Day 1: The trekking starts from Niella Tanaro following the Valle Tanaro path to reach the hamlets of Marsaglia and Murazzano. In Murazzano, ancient village known for the production of the Murazzono DOP cheese, we will have a delicious lunch with local products. After lunch e will move towards Bossolasco through the valley bottom to going up again and reach Bossolaschetto where a traditional dinner will be prepared for us in a farm and where we will spend the night.
Day 2: From Bossolaschetto we will reach the Belbo valley bottom in a slowly declivity to proceed in direction of Serravalle Langhe where we will take agian the Valle Tanaro path up to Cerretto. Lunch and, after, we will start again to reach the little village of Albaretto della Torre where we will leave the Valle Tanaro path to move in Valle Talloria up to Sinio, little village known for the nougat production. Dinner and overnight in agriturismo.
Day 3: from Sinio, through the villages of Serralunga d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto and the impressive estate of Fontanafredda - ancient property of the wife of the first king of Italy - we will walk through the famous vineyards that are recently been included in the list of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. The trail ends in Barolo. Back to Niella Tanaro by car.
